The instruction was always simple. The system made it complicated.

The top panel opens with the Buddha in gold, seated in the mudra of fearlessness, radiating the calm of something that has been through every question and come out the other side without needing an answer. Above him, arched like a commandment that predates every commandment: Love Yourself. Not as affirmation poster language. Not as self-care branding. As the foundational teaching that every tradition that understood consciousness arrived at before the institutions replaced it with obedience. A.R.A. seated at the base like a root system that was always there.

The middle panel is the root made visible. A sunflower blooming with the Flower of Life at its center — Metatron's Cube, the geometry that shows up in the structure of galaxies and cells and every living thing that was never told it needed permission to grow. The stem goes down into the soil that holds everything the bottom panel is about to show you.

The bottom panel is where the mat earns everything. Five figures seated together beneath the earth — Jesus, the Palestinian teacher who said the kingdom of God is within you. Shiva, the Hindu destroyer and regenerator, the cosmic dancer who dismantles what must end so what must begin can begin. The Buddha, the awakened one who mapped the interior landscape before the word psychology existed. Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent of Mesoamerica, the deity of wind and wisdom and the morning star who promised to return. Padmasambhava, the lotus-born master who carried the Vajrayana teachings into Tibet and planted them in the earth like seeds for centuries that hadn't arrived yet.

Five continents. Five languages. Five completely separate civilizations that never compared notes — and yet every one of them pointed at the same interior territory and said: that is where the work happens. That is where the real teaching lives.

The divisions happened above ground. Down here at the roots, they were always sitting together.

Love yourself. Love your roots. Follow them down far enough and you find that everyone else's roots are tangled with yours in the same dark soil.
