The top half is the world your nervous system remembers from before the curriculum arrived and replaced it with something more manageable. Bigfoot riding a unicorn at full gallop across a rainbow, unbothered and majestic, the two things they told you weren't real sharing a stride like they never got the memo. The cartoon rabbit tumbling off the rainbow below them — not defeated, just mid-somersault, the way the trickster always lands wrong and gets up grinning. Amanita mushrooms lining the scene in red and white, the fungi that appears in every shamanic tradition on every continent that ever took the interior landscape seriously. The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow stamped A.R.A. — because the brand was always the treasure at the end of the path the rational mind kept insisting didn't exist. The whole scene painted in the lush, saturated green of a world that hasn't been managed yet.

The bottom half is the magi of this particular nation. A monkey in a pirate captain's coat, sword raised, a grey parrot at his shoulder — the trickster who never accepted the map they handed him because he could see the edges were fabricated. Riding a serval, the wild cat that was never fully domesticated no matter how many generations tried, through a sky of stars and a crescent moon and a castle that looks like a dream you had once and spent years trying to get back to. Another rainbow arching behind them because in this world the rainbow doesn't end — it just changes who's riding through it.

Lucy in the title isn't accidental. Lucy is the fossil — the oldest known ancestor. Lucy is also the light. Lux. The illumination that the 3Y3 Magi Nation carries forward from the beginning of the human story into whatever comes next.

The imagination was never childish. It was just inconvenient for the people who needed you manageable. This blanket is what it looks like when it comes back fully.
