Sorry Net Sorry in the bold cream of someone who has absolutely no regrets about what just happened at the net. That's the whole pickleball personality distilled into three words. The sport is social enough that people say sorry when they hit a lucky shot, when the ball clips the tape and drops over, when the dink lands perfectly and there was nothing the other side could do. The sorry is reflexive. The net sorry is the honest version underneath it — the acknowledgment that the shot was good, the placement was intentional, and the apology was always a little bit performative.

Every pickleball player has said sorry net sorry at least once. Most of them meant it the second time and not the first.
