Someone wrote it on a bridge. They weren't wrong about what they saw.
The graffiti found its surface and meant it — spray painted on a wooden fence somewhere green and overgrown, the kind of place people go when the feeling gets too large for indoors. Love is dead in the handwriting of someone who needed to say it somewhere that would hold it. The trees don't argue. The wood absorbs it. Artistic Revolt Apparel underneath because the revolt was always personal before it was philosophical and this is where the two things meet.
Top right: the three graces chasing a man who is running — not from love but through it, the pursuit that is also the thing being pursued, the ancient image of desire and its complications rendered in the sepia of something that predates every modern theory about why it doesn't work the way it should.
Middle right: the Eye of Horus holding a sleeping figure curled inside it, a small pig beside them, the all-seeing eye as cradle rather than surveillance — the watcher that protects instead of judges, the ancient Egyptian understanding that to be seen completely is not exposure but sanctuary.
Love is dead on the fence. The eye still watches over the sleeping. The graces still run. The contradiction is the whole point.
