The composition tells the whole story in a single image and doesn't apologize for any of it. Below: the white flock with heads down, grazing, moving together in the direction they were pointed, unbothered by the rain falling on them because the rain has always fallen and they have always grazed and the two facts exist together without friction. Above: the black sheep standing on the storm cloud itself — reared up, backlit by the moon, a saucer hovering nearby because the ones who see differently tend to attract different kinds of attention. The rain isn't falling on the parade. The black sheep is the parade. The rain is what it rides.
pARAde hiding A.R.A. inside it because the brand was never separate from the message — the revolt is in the letters, the paradox is in the drip, the grim reaper in the sidebar holds a mirror to a man holding a mirror back because the death we're most afraid of is the one that shows us what we've been.
Rain On My pARAde. Let it rain. The black sheep already found higher ground.
