Below it the church against the dramatic sky beside the third eye. 3Y3 C U. The Third Eye Needs A DR. The institution and the diagnosis. The original poison and the eye that traces the drip back to the source.
Then turn around.
Three cartoon characters standing in front of a mirror — Tequila in a sombrero grinning, a cannabis leaf wide-eyed and happy, Sugar box smiling like it isn't in everything. In the mirror's reflection they become a cola bottle. The legal poison. The one nobody questions. The one they put in schools and hospitals and hand to children before they can read the label.
Pick Your Poison running vertically down the right side like a menu at a restaurant that never tells the full ingredients.
The joke is that they're all smiling. The deeper joke is that the ones society criminalizes and the ones corporations sell for profit are the same category — just different branding. Tequila has a hat. Sugar has a smile. Cola has a multi-billion dollar marketing budget and a spot in every vending machine in every school in America.
Drip drip.
Oversized boxy cut. Worn by anyone who has ever read a label and put something back on the shelf.
